Heating system installation and modernisation

Plant rooms, underfloor heating, radiators, manifolds and controls.

A heating system works as a whole

The heat source, pipework, manifolds, circulation pumps, radiators or underfloor heating circuits, and controls need to work together. Simply replacing a boiler or pump is not always enough: comfort and running costs may be affected by incorrect flow balancing, excessive temperature, awkward controls or poorly insulated pipework.

What work we assess

We accept enquiries for plant room installation and alterations, underfloor heating manifolds, radiators, circulation, hydraulic assemblies and controls. During renovation, we check whether the existing system suits the proposed heat source. If an air-to-water heat pump is being considered, the required water supply temperature and the building's heat demand need to be assessed, not just the total floor area.

Selection and quotation

Start with a short question and one contact method. If you know them, you can include the approximate heated area, the current heat source and the change you want. We can clarify insulation, heat emitters and hot-water needs later. Plans and other documents are not required in the initial form; we will discuss whether further information, a heat-loss calculation or a site visit is needed.

During installation

We coordinate assembly locations, service space, pipe routes, condensate or safety valve drainage and electrical requirements. On completion, system leak-tightness and operation are checked and the basic operating modes are set. It is worth adjusting control parameters gradually while observing room temperatures and the system's response.

The website's selection calculator provides an indicative result. It does not replace an engineering design, heat loss calculation or the manufacturer's installation requirements.
