We select capacity and hydraulic layout after assessing the building and existing system.
A solution for home heating and hot water
An air-to-water heat pump takes energy from outdoor air and transfers it to a water-based heating system. It can supply underfloor heating, radiators and, with an appropriate specification, domestic hot water. Equipment efficiency is not constant: it is affected by outdoor temperature, water supply temperature, building demand and control settings.
Why the kilowatt rating is not the only consideration
Insufficient capacity may not meet demand in the coldest weather, while unjustifiably oversized equipment may cycle more often and operate under unfavourable conditions. Selection takes account of building heat loss, existing heat emitters, hot water use, electrical supply, outdoor unit location and potential noise impact. An older high-temperature radiator system needs a different assessment from new underfloor heating.
Monobloc or split system
Different designs have different requirements for pipework, frost protection, refrigerant circuits and installation. We suggest a suitable option only once we know the plant room location, pipe run length and how the property is used. We also assess the need for backup heating, a water tank, buffer tank and controls.
From enquiry to commissioning
Start with a short question about the heating you are considering and one contact method. If known, you can include the heated area, the current heat source and your intended result. Insulation, hot-water demand, plans or a site visit can be clarified later; files are not needed in the initial form. The proposal should clearly specify the equipment and scope of work. Installation must take account of manufacturer instructions, the hydraulic layout, electrical protection, condensate drainage and service access.
Catalogue information is intended for model comparison. We confirm the final choice according to the specific property and current manufacturer's technical documentation.

SEPARATE SERVICE
Air-to-water installation
Price on request
Installation is ordered separately when it is not included in the selected equipment price. We refine the estimate according to the equipment, pipe run length, mounting location and any additional work required.
The scope of installation depends on the heat pump specification, plant room and existing heating system. Hydraulic connections, electrical work and commissioning are assessed individually.
We do not publish a single installation price; we provide a quotation after assessing the property. Air-to-air standard connection terms do not apply to this system.
