A concealed WC frame creates a coordinated installation of a wall-hung WC and hidden cistern. The structure is selected for the installation situation; not every frame is equally suited to every wall. S23
A common question is whether tiles need to be broken if something fails. In systems designed for it, normal serviceable cistern components are reached through the flush plate's service opening. Geberit describes this access to fill and flush valves. This is one reason a properly installed concealed cistern should not be considered inaccessible. S26
However, it cannot be promised that every fault can be repaired through the flush plate. Structural, pipework or incorrect-installation problems may require other access. The brand name alone is not enough; secure fixing, leak-tightness testing and an unobstructed service opening also matter.
Before finishing, check compatibility: frame, cistern, flush plate and WC ceramic need to suit each other. Keep model codes and photos of the concealed installation.
Before ordering: discuss the intended WC usage height, wall construction and selected ceramic model. Ask to be shown where the service opening will be and how replaceable parts can be reached.
